Kawayan Cove is a private seaside residential community not a resort. One of the main attractions of this 68 hectare property is Bamboo Beach, a 650-meter crescent of white sand and sparkling blue water, considered the best swimming beach in Nasugbu, Batangas. Central to the concept of Kawayan Cove is the conservation of the natural environment with lots occupying only 30 of the 68 hectares. Approximately 350 prime view lots, ranging from 500 to 2000 square meters, offer a breathtaking panorama of the Western Batangas coastline.
The community has 24-hour security, tree-lined concrete roads, an abundant supply of fresh water coming from deep aquifers, subsurface lines for power and world-class facilities including the Bamboo Beach Club, a private membership club whose members must be owners of lots or residential units.
Edge Properties Development Corporation (EPDC), a corporation duly co-existing under and by virtue of the Philippine Laws, is the developer of Kawayan Cove. The driving force behind EPDC is the family of Jose G. Puyat and Isabel R. Puyat, who are also responsible for the success of other industrial and recreational enterprises such as:
- Puyat Sports Group of Companies comprising 20 leading bowling and billiard centers
- Puyat Steel Corporation
- Gonzalo Puyat & Sons, Incorporated
- Puyat Flooring Products, Incorporated
- Philippine Flour Mills
- International Pipe Industries Corporation
- Surigao Development Corporation
A team of appropriately experienced consultants and experts were put together by EPDC to collaborate in the planning, design and execution of the vision for Kawayan Cove.
